Emma Michele Crockett is Blessed

Hauni's best friend has always been her mother and what greater gift could a good friend give than naming her precious daughter after her best friend. Many of the same priesthood bearer's standing confirming Benjamin David on Saturday, now stood in the front of the chapel surrounding Emma to give her a name & a blessing.
Once again family gathered to worship & bear testimony.
Karen, Shauna, and Becky renew their frienship while celebrating this wonderful event.
And the same Hauni's siblings. Love flows freely in the Casper family.

Aaron too was grateful for Alan & Karen's sacrifice to be here to join in.
And Grandma Crockett is in total "HEAVEN" when her children fill up the back yard.
Julie Kaye & Travis announced another little girl will come into their family the first of February. #20 Grand child for Tim & I.
Little girls are coming down from Heaven in bunches. I think Great Grandpa Price is meeting his mortal demands from the other side of the veil.
Sydnee Sage & Elle show off their "Pretty Pink" matching shoes.
The Crockett boys like climbing high into the Shabin.
And what's a party without little ones searching for their name on the kid's table.
Life is so rich & priceless when family gathers at the right times because they have chosen to do good good things. I really love my family!

David's Son, Ben is Baptized

After raising 7 children who all served missions, 6 of which have wonderful companions whom they've been sealed to in the temple....baptisms and blessings become sweet & wonderful rewards.
Saturday, September 4th became one of those pay-days for parents. This time for two sets of parents. Tim & I as grandparents and David & Becky as the proud parents of Benjamin David.
Tender-Sensitive been, all dressed in white asked his Dad to baptism him a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. Grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles came to witness this wonderful event & to celebrate together.
Sister, big & little embraced each moment.

After the special program, baptism, confirmation and testimonies, it was time to bring on the food. Shredded pork sandwiches and Grandpa's famous crab salad! Yummy!

A special surprise awaited in the wings of the chapel. Alan & Karen with their 4 kids drove all the way from Denver Colorado to be apart of this celebration. That meant driving all day Friday then turning around and driving back after Emma's blessing on Sunday. What a true token of love.

Cousin's ran about, laughing, eating and sharing stories. Ben was in heaven for sure!

Love has no boundaries while sharing it with family & friends around.

Everyone filled themselves to full capasity1

Oh, the magical power of family!

Tribute to a Wise Daughter

Julie Kaye is our oldest daughter . She & another one of her friends through a baby shower for Angie Terburg and invited me to come. As the guests started to arrive, I started to reflect on how each of these girls came to be apart of our home. Suddenly I had an over whelming feeling of gratitude fill my being.

When Julie Kaye was a young teenage she made a MAJOR decision: "Do I stay with the friends I am now lingering with or do I step into the darkness and find other friends who cherish values and standards that I cherish?"
This was a BIG decision for a young teenager and I knew it. With total faith in a Divine Being, Julie Kaye stepped into the dark. New friends moved in & these girls were drawn to each other as friends.
Friends and mother's rejoiced together. Soon this bunch of beautiful princesses had created a group others wanted to be apart of. Tunnel singing, scripture study, service project, activities that invited the spirit readily. They laughed, encouraged each other in school activities, sang in performing groups, and had parties together.

Little sister were soon invited in and big sisters and little sisters became the best of friends.

As I saw each of them embrace, hugging the little children that now followed these new mothers, I asked, "Hey, do you think if I ran our prayer bell, all of you would surround the king size bed to join in family prayer together?" Each of them laughed as they remembered being in our home surrounding Tim & my bed for prayer.........because we were going to bed and they were going to keep on partying.

Now it's been over 15 years and these girls are still wonderful embracing friends supporting each other in Motherhood. Teachers, missionaries, authors, beautitions, secretaries.....all sorts of roads they have traveled and yet the most important road they all still travel is the one that they chose 15 years ago. They are daughters of a Heavenly Father who love them & they love him.

Thank You Julie Kaye, for stepping into the darkness and finding such brilliant lights to support your own. You are & have been the perfect example for your younger sisters and I cherish you for it. Your trust is a living testimony that faith precedes the miracle.
